MS SHIFT INC. is a fast growing software and technology company
constantly improving the most powerful and useful hotel systems
available. The company was founded in May of 2005 by Ori Zur, a computer
science engineer and a veteran of the hotel industry.
MS SHIFT provides the most comprehensive and intuitive hotel systems
available today, encompassing many aspects of an advanced hotel

In the beginning
The firm was founded in New York City, serving some of the largest and
busiest hotels in Times Square. This initial suite of services, managed by an
exceptional team of computer engineering specialists, focused on reducing
costs associated with worker’s compensation claims, losses and other
areas of liability.
Expansion
Following the company’s success and scaffolding on this recognition, MS
SHIFT upgraded its program and added a Packages system to its array of
services. This upgrade led to a significant growth and also brought
prestigious names such as W Hotels Worldwide to the company's
distinguished list of partners.
By 2007, MS SHIFT had established a pattern of steady growth and
expansion. New sales opportunities in the East coast helped the firm
enhance the services even more and develop its first Mobile application.
Tailored for the hotel associate on the move, the MS SHIFT Mobile
Application encompasses all the daily tasks allowing for fast and
professional response, and increasing the productivity of the property.
Expansion through 2008 included a powerful master service agreement
with Marriott International, a move that enabled MS SHIFT to serve as an
“All in One” solution for Marriott hotels. This achievement served the
company in continuing its growth. Marriott International, Inc. is a leading
hospitality company with more than 4,000 properties in over 80 countries
and territories around the world.
In 2010, MS SHIFT signed another significant master agreement with
Marriott Vacations Worldwide, the world’s leading pure-play public
timeshare company. Its brands include Marriott Vacation Club, Grand
Residences by Marriott, and The Ritz-Carlton Destination Club.
In 2011, MS SHIFT expanded its footprint to Asia following the finalization
of a service agreement with The Peninsula Hotels. The Peninsula Hotels
Group operates prestigious luxury properties across the globe and is
considered one of the most luxurious brands worldwide.
2012 marked another important year for MS SHIFT with the addition of
Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide one of the world's largest hotel
companies. A master agreement enabled MS SHIFT to service its nine
owned brands including Westin Hotels & Resorts, Sheraton Hotels, W
Hotels, St. Regis, and The Luxury Collection around the globe.
In 2014, MS SHIFT welcomed Loews Hotels and Resorts to its impressive
and growing roster of clients. Loews Hotels is a luxury hospitality company
that owns and/or operates hotels in the U.S. and Canada.
2015 results in another remarkable year for MS SHIFT. Rosen Hotels &
Resorts and PCH Resorts, both respectable industry names with properties
throughout the hub of Orlando and Alabama joins its continuously growing
list of users. In addition, MS SHIFT have broadened its global footprint
further by establishing a presence in properties across Latin America and
the Middle East.
Keeping up with technology
An initial move into an iOS application started early 2013. The idea was to
reduce costs and allow the hotels to enjoy all the features that they need
right at their fingertips in lightweight and powerful devices such as the
iPhone, iPod or the iPad. By early 2014, the new MS SHIFT iOS App had
revolutionized the way hotels provide services, and has streamlined the
reporting processes, creating an efficient well-run operation.
We also started hearing requests from our clients for options to track
luggage and bell storage. Consulting with some of the busiest bell desks in
the business, we created a streamlined bell management system, MS SHIFT
Bell. From the moment the luggage arrives curbside, it is tracked through
check-in and delivery to the guest room. Our clients tell us the Bell system
is easy to use alleviating concerns about training and implementation.
The Concierge Suite
Early in 2015, we began receiving requests for a concierge system. Realizing
the scale and scope of the intricate Concierge operation, we spent a year
researching and developing an easy-to- use interface. Consulting with real
Concierge teams and through focus group testing, a powerful and
innovative Concierge Suite emerged. The interfaces built into our
Concierge Suite are groundbreaking and never offered before inside a
software system. We are continuously updating the Concierge Suite
resulting in a responsive solution that has been well-received by Concierge
teams around the world. Unique features and unparalleled reporting
provide Concierge managers with superior tools. With two versions of the
Concierge Suite available, hotels are able to select the version most
tailored to their specific operation. The Concierge Suite is also designed to
work on mobile tablets enabling the Concierge to deliver service on the go.
Looking toward the future
For 2016 and beyond, MS SHIFT anticipates continued expansion in
response to an ever-increasing need for streamlined technology in the
hospitality industry. MS SHIFT continues to research and develop its array
of services, providing hotels with more applications and hardware
solutions in addition to increasing its reach to our international clientele.
By maintaining our systems with constant updating, we continue to exceed
the expectations of what hotel technology can do.
